Sommige bronnen melden het overlijden van drummer Jerry Carrigan. De drummer is o.m. te horen op de Elvis albums That's the way it is, Love letters & Country. Carrigan is 75 geworden. Daar waar DJ Fontana en Ronnie Tutt hele bekende namen zijn in de Elvis wereld, is de naam van Jerry niet zo bekend. Maar de genoemde albums geven goed weer wat voor klasse muzikant Jerry was. Vele andere artiesten waren ook bekend met de kwaliteiten van Carrigan, zo horen we hem ook op opnames van Johnny Cash, John Denver, Johnny Mathis, Sammy Davis Jr., Don McLean, de lijst is oneindig.
